Do we have online access to U.S. Census records?

Answer

Recent census records are freely available online through the US Census Bureau. Historical censuses are available through the National Archives and library database Ancestry Library.

The library database Ancestry Library also includes census records from 1790 through 1950. You can search by name or browse the censuses by state/county/town.
