Can I reserve/request an ebook not held by Salve?

Can I request an ebook through Interlibrary Loan (ILL)?

 

Answer

Unfortunately, ebooks cannot be requested between libraries. If Salve does not have access, you can:

Check to see if there is a print version alternative. Find the item you wish you borrow in the catalog and then click "Explore all editions & formats." If another library owns a print copy, you can place a request using either the Request from HELIN or Request thru Interlibrary loan buttons.

Faculty can submit purchase requests for ebooks via the materials request form, and library staff will review and respond to requests.
