How do I renew library materials checked out to me?

Answer

You can renew items checked out to you in person, over the phone, or online.

  • To renew in person, simply come to the library’s circulation desk with your Salve ID.
  • To renew over the phone, call (401) 340-2291 and have your Salve ID ready.
  • To renew online, go to https://library.salve.edu/patron.html and use your Salve email password, if prompted, to log in to your library account. From there you can renew your materials. Please note that some materials can only be renewed in person or over the phone.
    • Materials that CANNOT be renewed online:
      • Books from the Browsing Collection
      • Course reserves
      • Library technology
      • Inter-library (ILL) loans
      • Items exceeding the renewal limit
