How do I renew library materials checked out to me?

Answer

You can renew items checked out to you in person, over the phone, or online through your library account.

  • To renew in person, come to the library services circulation desk with your Salve ID.
  • To renew over the phone, call (401) 340-2291 and have your Salve ID ready.
  • To renew online, go to https://library.salve.edu/patron.html. Note that some materials can only be renewed in person or over the phone.
    • Materials that CANNOT be renewed online:
      • Books from the Browsing Collection
      • Course reserves
      • Library technology
      • Inter-library (ILL) loans
      • Items exceeding the renewal limit
