How can I tell if my hold item has been delivered?

How can I find out whether the book I requested from another library has arrived?

Answer

When an item you requested from another HELIN library is ready to pick up, you should receive a notification through your Salve email address.

If you haven't received a notification, you can check on the status of books or other items you requested by logging in to your library account* at library.salve.edu/patron.html . Use your Salve credentials for access.

From there, you will be able to view the items currently checked out to you in the Checkouts tab and pending requests in the Requests tab:

You can also call (401) 341-2291 or stop by the Circulation Desk at the front of the library to check on the status of your hold request.

*Please note that only current Salve students, faculty, and staff are able to log in to their library accounts. If you are an alum, or a borrower affiliated with another institution, please contact the library's circulation desk for information about your account (401) 341-2291.
